Please communicate with your youth leader if you plan to go to something! Also Make sure to register for the Prairie Patch Farm trip below!
Do you like llamas? How about cool llamas with sunglasses? Join us on 11/10 for a service project at Prairie Patch Farm, a wildlife refuge and nature preserve near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, known for its unique llama experiences. Our service project will take place outdoors, so please dress warmly and wear closed-toed shoes (no Crocs) that you won’t mind getting dirty. Be sure to bring a water bottle and work gloves if you have them. During our time at the farm, you’ll also have the chance to interact with the llamas and other farm animals.
We will meet at St. Paul’s UMC, 1340 3rd Ave SE Cedar Rapids at 1:15 pm, departing at 1:30 pm. We will return to St. Paul’s by 4:00 pm.
Please register below! This registration is important so we know how many cars we will need to take for the carpool over to the farm.
Let’s gather to celebrate friendship and gratitude with a delicious potluck on 11/24! Bring your favorite side dish (youth leaders will provide dessert!) to share. There also might be a special, spicy challenge during our time together too! Come join us for food and fun, 4:00 – 6:00 pm at St. Paul’s UMC, 1340 3rd Ave SE.

This Fall Semester Lovely Lane is hosting Wednesday Night youth!
This means St. Paul’s students will come over to Lovely Lane and their students and our students will meet in our youth room 6:15 to 7:30pm. So that we are being good hosts, we could use a few adults to volunteer once a month to help out with the youth on Wednesday evenings. You are encouraged to reach out to Ryan and let him know if you can help out!
