United Women in Faith – September Meeting

Starting in September we will be having just one meeting a month – Elizabeth Circle from 1:00-3:00 pm on the second Thursday of the month. In September the date will be Thursday, the 11th. We meet in the Fireside Room. Please join us.

We will also provide special meetings scheduled throughout the year.

Self defense will be our first special presentation on Saturday, October 11 at 9:00 am. This event is a two-hour program to educate us on awareness and prevention presented by Chris Smaby, a Cedar Rapids police officer. If there is interest, a later presentation may be scheduled for hands-on training. It is open and encouraged for junior and senior high youth, women and men. Please bring a friend and RSVP to church office at (319) 389-7546. The cost is $5 per family. Pay on arrival.

We plan to have church wide garage sale in the Spring! Start cleaning and sorting over the winter!
