60th Anniversary Celebration

Our church was officially organized on Sept. 4, 1962. This fall we will celebrate our 60th anniversary as a congregation. This is an exciting time. In preparation for this anniversary, a planning team has been meeting to put some events together.

LOVELY LANE’S 60TH ANNIVERSARY

Join in the celebration of Lovely Lane’s 60th anniversary as a United Methodist congregation on these Sundays in the month of September:

• Sept. 4th: Worship at 9:30 AM will lift up our church’s Early History (Lovely Lane was officially organized on September 4th, 1962.)
• Sept. 11th: Worship at 9:30 AM will lift up our church’s Mission Activity thru the years
• Sept. 18th: SPECIAL DAY OF CELEBRATION: Worship at 9:30 AM will lift up our church’s previous Pastors (with several helping lead the service!), followed by a Potluck Brunch for all
• Sept. 25: Worship at 9:30 AM will lift up our church’s future

We are excited to welcome back many of our previous pastors, along with some other special guests, on these September Sundays! Please plan now to join us!!
