United Women in Faith – Elizabeth Circle

Starting in September, we will be having just one meeting a month – Elizabeth Circle from 1:00-3:00 on the SECOND THURSDAY of the month. We will also provide special meetings scheduled throughout the year.

SELF-DEFENSE will be our first special presentation on Saturday, October 11 at 9 am. This event is a two-hour program to educate us on awareness and prevention presented by Chris Smabe, a Cedar Rapids police officer. If there is interest, later presentation may be scheduled for hands-on training.
IT IS OPEN AND ENCOURAGED FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH YOUTH, WOMEN, AND MEN. Please RSVP to church office at 319-389-7546. The cost is $5 per family. Pay on arrival.

United Women in Faith would like to encourage Lovely Lane women to attend the district meeting for United Women in Faith on September 27. The two presentations will be on food insecurity and sex trafficking. More information to come soon.
