Matthew 25’s 9th Annual Transform Week

This year, Matthew 25 will host its 9th Annual Transform Week, ( June 24-28). Thanks to amazing volunteers they are able to continue the commitment to quality affordable housing and strong neighborhood building. Our hope is to make this a very impactful week helping someone who is truly in need.

Lovely Lane will again have a team taking on one or more of the projects during the week. As a volunteer you can work what your schedule allows. You can sign up for half days, full days, multiple days or all week. Any and all help is appreciated. It is a very rewarding feeling to see a project completed for someone truly deserving!

Early sign-up is encouraged. To register, go to matthew-25.org/housing/transform-week. When committing to a project it is very helpful for us to know how many volunteers we have and what skills they do possess. This is all covered during the sign-up process.

We now have a project lined up that nicely fits our skillset. It will have far less scraping in preparation for areas to be painted. Those who are familiar know the last couple of projects we took on were quite intense. This year’s project should give everyone a bit of a breather. There will be some light to
moderate carpentry work to be accomplished as well.
